  • Still youthfully ruby in colour. Nose of dark fruits and some clean earthiness. Perfectly balanced in all its structural components. Medium bodied with good palate weight. First tasted in July 2005, and it was drinking well then. Bought a case and these extra three years have given it some further complexity. Best at first pour; needs only a little air to be fully expressive. An hour+ in decanter led to fruit loss and balsamic gain.
