  Rich, ripe to over ripe black cherry color in the glass. Moderate glass cling. Slightly stewed look, but not off putting. Layers of currant, plum and cocco on the nose. The palate revealed rich black fruits and chocolate. Minerals and loam rounded this wine out. Overall, this was an excellent effort although appears to be at prime or just slightly beyond. It was revealing to try one of the earlier vintages of this wine. Thanks to a gracious friend for sharing. Cheers!
