Medium yellow greenish. Incredibly vivid grapefruit rind. Light weight with sheen of glycerine, making it more textural than the vast majority of Sancerres. Beautiful ripe citrus balanced with outstanding acidity, stone, and quinine. An exciting bottle that was remarkably youthful and fresh. Bravo!

Can't believe I held this bottle for 6.5 years. That time sideways has been good to this wine, as it drinks well right now. I was initially not thrilled with it on the first night as it seemed kind of creamy and a bit confected to me. On night two, it seemed to come together better. A mix of honeydew melon, citrus, fig and a light briny quality, too. Still some of that creaminess remained but the collective fruit profile and acid rounded it all out. Ready to drink in my opinion.

Medium yellow. Effusive nose of citrus rind and white flowers. Properly light Sancerre weight with just a little extra body and texture. Vibrant grapefruit rind, orange, perfect acidity and stone to balance this. A fantastic wine drinking close to peak and more than justifying the choice to hold it this long. Truly at the level of the best wines of the appellation, and this is only the basic cuvée.

Crisp, with aromas and flavors of lemon, grapefruit, grass, apple, pear, minerals. I did not get any of the sweetness I got about a year ago. Nice structure and balance. Very drinkable. Paired nicely with Pad Thai.

Pop and pour, has developed well, much improved from my last tasting over two years ago.
