Dark Ruby with some brick red rims. Subtle nose with smoky fruits, rustic earthiness and sweet toasty oak. Simple and lean on palate, showing smoky dark cherry, earthiness, leather and plum. Medium finish with soft chewy tannins. A simple wine to drink now but it does not showcase how good a Vino Nobile can be.

Quite enjoyable with some complexity, great ruby color, cherries, leather, licorice, raspberries with a fresh and slightly bitter finish. Soft tannins. For once not a heavily oaked nobile, giving the stage to the ripe red fruits, good QPR.

First whiff out of the bottle is like a gentleman's study... oak paneled walls, leather bound volumes, cigar box On the palate, much of the same notes, accompanied with bright cherry and strawberry, leading to a furry tannic finish. Texture is nice and velvety. Seemed to lose a bit of charm with air, especially with regards to the aroma.
Overall, very good. About the quality and depth I'd expect for this price.

100% Sangiovese. Light intensity nose of herbal dryness, dried red fruit, mushroom. Palette shows layers of dark dryness, forest floor but in a bright way, nice fruit all around. Finish of medium plus length.
