Burgundy Fest 1.0 (Waterford Wine Co., Milwaukee): More of a waxy polish to the fruit aromas, but actually a substantial wood expressed in nose. A couple chords of wood on the palate too. Wow. Loads of oak all over this and at $20 it makes me wonder what's supposed to be going on here. First vintage of this wine perhaps for T. Morey...?
