Big black & blue fruit, a touch of wet earth, some spice (anise, dried vanilla). Creosote note I get from a lot of Myriad/Quivet wines. A touch hot in the dense midpalate. Soft tannins; very plush, but supported with some acid in the back. Probably better a few years back, but still tasty

The black and blue fruit dominates. The tannins at this point are soft with the oak adding creaminess. While still quite enjoyable I'd wait a couple of yrs so the oak isn't quite as noticeable.

Consistent with my previous notes. This continues to drink well, with no signs of fading soon.

Always a treat. I’m a huge fan of Mike’s Three Twins cab and the 2010 continues to drink at peak - dark and delicious.

Well balanced, big cab. Another great Mike Smith wine.
