Deep golden color. I was immediately thinking, oh oh oxi, but it really isn’t. Lime, apples, mandarin and chalk on the nose. Wonderfully deep and complex palate combined with acidity and freshness. This was really unfolding with air, and 4-5 hours after opening this was peaking. A testimony to what Chenin Blanc with age can offer. With Niels and Henrik at Møntergade.

Beautiful golden hue, mild fuel based nose with toasted apricots, tart initially on the palate but mellowing out with more air. This was quite dense concentrated. Lovely with sushi today which came as a surprise cutting beautifully the fatty raw fish with the dense acidity that exists. Very good and will hunt for better vintages.

Similar notes to the last one: deep yellow close to Bernstein color, needs air, lots of lemon and chalk, monolithic, lean and very long. No idea how long to wait, anyhow, aeration is a must.

Slightly orange color, not a lot of fruit and monolithic on lemon. Stony. Not showing his best side tonight.
