Already drinking very well and showing some aromatics I wasn’t necessarily expecting in a Os Rougeard. Right off the bat, very open and flagrant nose. White flowers, tangerine and fresh squeezed lemon and lime. Some oak but very well integrated. Similar palate. Loved the energy and surprisingly balanced and together for such a tough vintage. Really good.

Lovely sweet tangerine nose, with honeysuckle, orchard fruit. Nice concentration on the palate, with medium acidity. For me, this could use a touch more acid, but otherwise delish. Nice expression of chenin, but this should be had ahead of the Labet, as it feels much less exciting afterwards. ;)

Good concentration and balance, though not especially complex at this stage. Clear hint of oak on the nose though integrated in the mouth, and dissipated as the wine aired. Disappointing relative to the price; I've prefered any wine from Guiberteau, and many from Collier, to this. Likely to improve with time.

Oaky , vanilla and simple. Lacking acid, structure and backbone. Total disappointment !!!!!

@ Le Chevreuil || Deep and full bodied with a fine blend of tangerine, honeysuckle, almond and beeswax, structured a bit oxidative and less generous!
