  Cork fell apart upon opening. Aroma still has some fruit with a lot of alcohol - some components are now missing. Smells like black pepper, prune, red currant, fig, phenolic, alcohol/hot and toast. The wine is a slightly bricked purple. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. Definitely past its prime but drinkable. Not fair to rate the wine at this point.

  Didn't take long in the glass for this wine to open up. Good balance between fruit and tannins.

  This was stunning. Exactly how I hope a good napa cab will taste after 10+ years. Perfect drinking window now. This wine is silky smooth, elegant, and bursting with flavors of cherry, currant, tobacco, cedar, some leather, more fruit, all roles perfectly into rich finish. Loved it.
