I was very impressed with this. I've been to the winery and had a variety of their single vineyard cabs, most of which I found quite similar, good quality but overpriced. I got a couple oft these for about $73 on release and they are worth the price of admission. Very polished, elegant, just the right power, finesse, and with a bit of acidity - everything in the right place. There is no mistaking this for a mere $50 cab; this oozes class. I was worried it would be too young but it showed well, though will likely improve a bit more. 95+pts.

I generally like N&N cab because they always show restraint. The 2018 Sullinger is just not balanced. Fruits are good, not too crazy, more new world bdx than full fledge Napa cab. Aroma has a hint of floral, not too much oak, very pleasing. Now, the bad part, on the palate, the heat is very obvious despite being at 14%. For some reason they cannot control the alc that well here. What a shame because this wine without the obvious flaw is 94+ kinda wine.

I’m with gamlingman on this wine. This was superb Oakville cab: vivid red fruit, a bit brambly (fine), but a well-structured wine. It paired perfectly with charcoal grilled filets (butter and brown sugar marinade). Tonight was a celebration of selection for early promotion to Colonel. Will track down more of this 2018 N&N Sullenger cabernet.
