Another wonderful bottle of this. Better and better with a couple hours of air. The sweetness is perfectly balanced at this point. Great color. I really hope that my 2016/2017s turn out this way.

Wow, this was firing on all cylinders. Absolutely magnificent with a pan-cuisine dinner this evening, singing all my favorite notes I look for in maturing champagne. I’m tempted to drink my remaining bottle given how good this was, but I think I’ll try to hold off for a couple more years.

Just lovely early and I even preferred it over the oxidative 07 CDC next to it. However the former balanced and blossomed while this fell off a bit after a couple hours of bottle air. It was just so clean and pretty early. 94-95

Been looking forward to this for a while and it did not disappoint at all. Great on opening but a bit tight and tart. Air really brought out the balance and beauty of this and it showed very well all night. May have been my favorite in a great NYE lineup. Probably next to the 159eme Krug. Just a step below the 08 of this bottling, which is amazing.

Nose with bright citrus, yeast, discrete bready notes. Good length, the palate was a touch too sour for a higher score.
