  Solid chianti for $12, but not nearly as good as the 2009 version. This has a darker fruit profile and more structure than the 09, but it gets a bit rough and a touch bitter on the finish. Just a bit disjointed at this stage. I see a chance that this could improve a lot with 2-3 years of bottle age, but hard to be sure. For $12, it is probably worth laying down a couple of bottles for a few years as an experiment.
