This has been worth keeping for a few years. Lemony-yellow with some pleasant green hints. Lemon, biscuits on the nose with a faintly metallic edge plus mango, poached pears and a little tinned pineapple; then back to sponge and biscuits. An interesting mix of apple tastes - toffee, red and green. Biscuits and burnt butter. Not sure it's fully in balance any longer. Juicy, biscuity and still acidic finish.

An everyday wine that seemed worth keeping for a few years to see how it changed. I have one more that I will now keep for another two or three years, because it seems worthwhile. A very peasant light yellow colour with hints of green. An interesting nose, which is less obviously nutty (although still with some nut characters) than when the wine was purchased: leafy, acidic, nuts, burnt butter, sharp apples, gooseberries and a curious floral note, somehow like fading flowers. Juicy and nicely acidic taste - gentle lemons and mixed apples with some restrained caramel-like flavours. An interesting almost menthol finish, mixed with lemon verbena - fresh and acidic.

Clean, fresh, good typicity, nice weight of fruit, lightly oaked, well balanced, lovely minerality, nothing out of place.
