Taste is candied. Slightly acidic, taste declines quickly. Reveals no varietal character whatsoever. My advice is to brush your teeth right before you drink this, I don't know why but it doesn't taste as bad, still bad, but I don't want to cut my tongue out. ($3)

Just like previous review. I got this as a gift and it laid quietly in my cellar for 7 years completely forgotten. We opened it last night with some marinated turkey london broil and grilled veggies prepared on the barbecue. Very good flavor and not at all offensive. I even think I could put this in a more expensive bottle and fool some people into thinking this costs $20-25. Of course,I would never do this.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Grandma brought this over after grandpa passed since we were the biggest wine people she knew. Said, "he never believed in overpaying" being of the snob il, we blew it off and forgot about it. Then this last weekend when cleaning the garage we found it again. I has to try it, curiosity got the best of me. Amazing, it was quite good. Very light yes, but nevertheless clearly someone had good grapes. maybe this Franzia feller' has a point.

Needed a bottle for cooking. Gave it a taste first. I did not think the bottle would hold up this long, but it was not really that bad.
