Pale Ruby Medium (+) nose of smoke, green bell pepper, dried plum, dried blackcurrants, CHOCOLATE, baking spice, menthol and sun dried tomato Dry, medium (+ acidity, medium (+) ripe tannin, high alcohol, medium (+) body, intensity and medium finish (the secondary is all that persists) C: The wine shows great balance between the fruit and tannin vs the ripe tannin. Intensity contributes to quality but has a rather curtailed finish for the fruit. There is moderate complexity here. The wine is of good quality.
This was made for early consumption but has held up well. Certainly not suitable for ageing at this stage. Its fully developed but fruit is dried rather than cooked and overripe. Lets hear it for ageing TWO BUCK CHUCK!

Blind Tasting Four Young Cabernets: Blind. This was obviously the two buck chuck but it was really good—if a little jejune—through the mid palate, and then candied on the finish with generously sprinkled oak chips and-summer-spritzer berry juice fruit. Incredible value.

Much better than expected given the price point. Dark fruit on the nose, not a lot of depth afterwards and no tannins. For $3/bottle though it does its job.
