Honestly - I am positively shocked. I believe this was way before they started buying grapes from all over the state. I believe this to be a Napa cab. 1999 was a very good year for Napa and this $2 entree is very good. Positiveily amazing for the price. Clean cork, brick in color, very little tannins, but amazingly good all considered. Makes me think I should buy a few every year and just put them away for fun. jr

Justin Magaram's little experiment... Two Buck Chuck. High pitched notes of cherry, cloying oak, alcohol and some almost please hints of black pepper. On the palate there is a reasonable bit of acid, and bitter fruit. Not much of a finish to speak of. I can't really rate this, and I was very glad to have a spittoon in front of me all night...
