Seriously dark wine, dark cherries and black rasberry. Drank from a goblet styled wine glass (burgundian) and it showed a breautiful perfume. Has some serious tannin, but enough fruit to balance it out.

I was surprised to see the comments on the harsh tannis from the other tasters. I tried a bottle this past weekend and thought the tannins were very soft...nice black fruit upfront soft on the backend. Worked extremely well paired with the Moussaka we had for dinner. I did decant for 1 hour.

Dark purple, looks very extracted, but you wouldn't know it from the nose or the flavor. Very little fruit and the sharp, green tannins taste as if they fermented with stems or used all new oak - and by "new oak" I mean green, right from the tree, no aging or toasting.

Nice nose, but tannins and acid are harsh and rough. Fruit is overwhelmed by the tannins. Probably too much unnuanced oak.

Nice nose and palate of concentrated cherries, but the tannins are a bit harsh and the finish dry. Good QPR, depending on whether you like the style.
