drunk over a couple days. better the second day. typical chablis, a lot of chalk, citrus, a slight touch of honey. on the palate there is some coldness (sorry, I have no better word to describe this) which lingers although it was barely perceptible the second day. very good freshness and length, medium body, does not have the power of a grand cru.

New Years eve at Kevin and Vicki's 2018: A very nice GC chablis, and correct in profile. Rich and round, with lemon and florals. The mouthfeel is hefty and the wine is dry and mineral driven.

New Year's Eve Bash (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Pale gold color. Drank a gass over 40 minutes. The nose really jumps out at you with that classic seashore earthy brine followed by lemon and Meyer lemon and lemon blossom. The palate has taut acidity, lemon, lemon zest, strong limestone character and excellent length. This has got that intensity and depth you expect from a GC chablis in spades.

Beautiful and classic style chablis. Very well balanced with a lot of citrus and yellow fruit backed up by very nice acidity. Pleasantly surprised.

a lot of qualities but a bit monolithic at its early stage of its life. to be revisited in a few years
