  • tart cherries all over this wine; nice full body and finish; very solid wine

  • From a magnum...popped and poured...immeadiately accessible on the nose and the palate. Clear medium to dark purple with ruby highlights...pleasing nose of tart dark cherry and red berries that was all about fruit...not showing some of the earthy character that I am accustomed with this wine. A medium to firm, and rounded mouth feel with adequate acidity that framed this well, not fat, but showing some nice fruit textures. After pouring a round, we did decant in a magnum decanter and over a few hours this became even more appealing.

  • All the elements that make Pinot worth drining. Lots of red/black fruit, balancing acidity, earth and spice. Long, lingering finish.

  • Red fruit, spice and earth on the nose. Lots of bing cherry, black raspberry, earth, spice and a touch of pepper/smoke in the mouth. A fine backbone of acidity pulls this wine together. Long, lingering finish.

  • Nose followed the cork right out of the glass. I'm assuming this has a healthy percentage of Garys', because I'm getting that dark fruit, spice and earth smell that I love from that vineyard. I gave the bottle a half-hour of air before dinner and it was soaring by the time we sat down. Bing cherries, cranberries and raspberries play on the tongue.

Balanced, but the acids step right up and demand attention, and food; just what I want from a PN. Got at bit hot on the nose as dinner progressed, but never on the tongue. Finish lingered. A lean, muscular wine that is on point. Enjoy.
