Pop and pour. Tasted with food (grilled cheese sandwich, in case you were wondering). Dark ruby color. Dark cherries on the nose with hint of cloves. Good rich fruit with a noce citrus note on the finish. Dark cherry fruiit. While. There is some acidity, this is a big Cali-pinot with ripe fruit. No mistaking that. Enjoyable.

Opened in bottle for 2-4 hours. Drinks like a baby Pisoni Estate. Medium plus bodied with plenty of syrupy red fruit and deep dark fruit. Creme de cassis, vanilla, and minerals complement. Doesn’t have the precision of the Pisoni Estate but at $35-45 comes close enough.

Needed some air but settled into a decently smooth, full'ish CA Pinot. Maybe would be a little softer in a couple years, but decent drinking now.
