This pale yellow wine was purchased and consumed at a local restaurant. Very impressive from the get-go, it flaunts aromas of wet stones, hay and stone fruits. Light-bodied, fresh and with seamless alcohol (13%), it delivers flavors which mirror the nose while filling the middle palate. Long and crisp on the finish, this is a Sauvignon Blanc which was a perfect match with raw Fanny Bay oysters. Enjoy it with similar fare. Drink now-2016.

Not classic in the 2010 sense, but with more substance. Maybe the best 2011 Sancerre I have tasted to date, if just a tad sulfuric.

Obvious smoke/flint on the nose, nice fruit, decent acidity. I like the flint so that stands out for me. QPR decent, not amazing.
