Chardonnay Tasting (Le Petit Sommelier): The nose is clean, med+ intensity, showing high notes of brioche, toast, wax, honey, butter and hazelnut, I would classify this as what most of the world pressume as a typical Chardonnay of California, also I'll put this as developed. The wine is dry, medium body, med+ intensity, medium acidity and alcohol (14.5%), oak, vanilla, walnut and hazelnut, toast and honey, oxidation notes, medium concentration, roasted almond in the med+ finish. Tried this after a while and pear jam came in view. Very good quality, premium price, drink now as this feels slightly going downhill but maybe its this bottle.

Expressive nose of tropical fruit like mango and passion fruit alongside mellon, peach and perfectly integrated oak. Med+ bodied with noticeable heat from 14.5% alcohol, rich fruit, medium acidity and a long aftertaste. At peak.

Straw yellow in the glass. zesty lemon on the nose and in the mouth. There are hints of green apples but the hot acidity which remains in the after taste is distracting. A very good wine that is enjoyable. Oak is obvious in the mouth giving it that fatness that Americans love. This new world style Chardonnay may lack sophistication but then again...during a summer BBQ elegance is not exactly what you are looking for.
According to the "Wine Rating Assistant" a "good" wine receives a score from 80 to 85. I find this wine "good" and will score accordingly. Cheers!

Nice wine. Decent balance. Heavy but smooth. A nice wine for the price.
