Half bottle $13. Never tried this brand before. Rich, buttery and oaky. Good if you like that style of Chardonnay. Very good.
Per back label: Aged 11 months in French oak. Structure, subtlety and complexity. Nine hand-chosen clone selections from marine climate vineyards in Napa valley. Abv 14.2%. www.hesscollection.com

Creamy yet still minerally enough to satisfy both chardonnay crowds(I hate oaked chards, I love oaked chards, blah blah blah), a great buy at $9.99(.375ml) with it’s honeyed marshmallow, green apple and honeydew melon flavours.

Once again, rich and buttery and oaky. But not excessively oaky. But the fruit is somewhat overcome, in the aftertaste, by wood. High good (84.5).
