This wine has a great aromas composed of apricots, pear and butter. It is one of the thickest chenin blanc i have ever tasted. It has great complexity. The flavors include honey, apricots, pear and some flowers that I could not distinguish well. It has a buttery structure (french oak aging). A surprising complex wine for a South African chenin blanc. Not a cheap wine, however, it is worth every penny. A splendid South African wine that can probably age for another 2-3 years but can be enjoyed now. Will buy again!
