Very lovely and with an impressive acidity. Plenty of pear and quince fruit mixed with some vanilla and oak. Salty and spicy finish. Really enjoyed it!

37 year old vines. Maturation in 300L, 400L, 500L and 2500L oak barrels (60% new) for 14 months.
Golden yellow colour. Juicy-creamy palate with pear, candied apricot, almonds, lime, salty minerals (slate), and light oak. Lovely wine, which brings back fantastic memories of our trips to SA.
This bottle had a 5* Platter sticker on it.

Extra everything! Big, complex with both freshness and hint of sweetness. This is a wine I prefer to drink young but can be cellared for many years.
