(Dusted Valley Vintners Tall Tales Syrah Walla Walla Valley) An aromatic wine with abundant spice, a touch of pepper, earth, and blackberry. The palate is tart and spritely with blackberry and blueberry flavors. 100% Syrah. Stoney Vine, Birch Creek, and Minnick Hills vineyards. Aged 16 months in American oak (35% new). 14.7% alcohol. 192 cases produced.

Exploring the Walla Walla Valley; 5/24/2013-5/27/2013 (Walla Walla, WA): Nose of bar-be-que smoke and tobacco. Really big through the palate--almost chewy--with predominately black fruit flavors. Long and pleasant finish.
