The wine was acidic, bitter and disjointed upon opening, but came around nicely after half an hour in a small decanter. It was medium gold in colour and offered stone fruit, some honey, spice, a wooly component and lactic notes as well as chalky and flinty mineral notes on the nose and palate, with good acidity and good length. Like the first bottle two years ago, the intense, medium- to full-bodied wine grew on me over time. Very good value.

Served blind Light golden apple aromas Bone dry, faintly oxidized Simple flavors, I thought this was a 5 year old generic Bourgogne from a good producer. Nice if a bit simple and plain. Not going downhill, but not sure that it’s going anywhere

The wine was medium yellow golden in colour and offered dried stone fruit, some honey, a woolly component and lactic notes on the nose. On the palate, the wine showed dried stone fruit, a building citrus note, a hint of honey, spice, lactic notes and chalky minerality, with medium-level acidity, a good mouthfeel and good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine benefited from aeration and grew on me over time. I would recommend decanting for one hour. Very good value at only € 9.-.

Fruity but not too sweet. Goldenrod color, drink it now before it rolls down the hill.

Tastes very young and tart. Needs some time. Maybe this is the vintage? Maybe its the wine?
