  First of 9 bottles.
  Despite the mixed reputation of this vintage, it's drinking quite well.
  The tannins are quite soft for this vintage and the balance is excellent.
  The aromas are both clean and typical of Givry and I find no premature aged character.
  Perhaps not at the level of certain other vintages but that's to be expected.
  Great dinner wine now and should remain so for 5+ years

  Robe cerise translucide, légèrement brunâtre;
  Beau nez, délicat, harmonieux, élégant, sur un mélange de petits fruits rouges, de sous-bois & d'épices. Petite note de réglisse & léger aspect "vert" en arrière plan. Aspect florale plus présent avec l'aération. Splendide nez très invitant.
  Bouche fort agréable, l'attaque est sur les petits fruits rouges acidulés, l'ensemble est bien supporté par une acidité rafraîchissante. Longueur moyenne, finale astringente & sur de légères notes végétales & les épices. Belle harmonie, tout aussi élégant que le nez. P-ê pas le plus dense mais bonne buvabilitée.

  Un peu moins de cerises et un peu plus de cassis cette fois-ci. Ça livre la marchandise à nouveau: une belle texture acidulée et fraîche, sans verdure, qui accompagne à merveille le boeuf sur le BBQ. Très bon, et pour le prix, excellent!

  Un vin qui paraît sévère et végétal par rapport à d’autres millésimes. Austère, de la mâche, une certaine fraîcheur mais peu de fruit. Décevant. 84-85 pts
