P&P. bottled flew in a suitcase for 10 hours the day before. at first the wine was not in place but it got better within 30 minutes. nose of fresh yellow fruits, lemon and flint. The palate is sleek, long, racy and refreshing. very very good.
edit after reading the 2 notes before mine: the flint is not overwhelming

Well, other call it "smoky mineral", "flint", "mineral reduction", "matchstick nose" and "whiff of sulphur" , yes indeed, that' right. But in my humble opinion it's just about to much SO2 or not enough oxidation, like the most of Boisson-Vadot wines I had from the 2010 and 2011 vintages. Clearly one of the "le matchstick" wines as Jancis Robinson called them. There is manything underneath, but the fruit is largely covered by this smoky matchstick scent and flavor. If I would be a fan of this sxcent I would rate it maybe 88 points, because it makes this wine quite one dimensional. But I'm not a fan of this and so this is just faulty to me. 5 /7/4/2. Drinkable, not more. I used it for cooking after checking out that this matchstick scent hasn't been harmful to the beurre blanc.

Drinking wonderfully well. The nose has plenty of smoky mineral, almond butter, white peach and toast. It is full and rich in the mouth, with sappy fruits and a dollop of butter. The finish is loaded with chalk and length is impressive.

Boisson-Vadot Tasting plus X (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Zalto Burgundy
Deep golden color. Nose with unusual lactic notes, very reductive. On the palate a bit unbalanced, a bit sweet/sour. Bad bottle? 87-88

Boisson Vadot White Wines & A Mix of Old Red Burgundy (Paradise Valley, AZ USA): Polished, clean, and precise. Best showing to date of this wine, this has blossomed in the past couple of years. Flint and flower aromas, juicy fruit. This was unanimously the best of the flight.
