Really nice development 11 years on w/ this village Chassagne. Still fresh and resilient acidity, but with bruléed pineapples and a bit of deserty sweet to round out the more oxidative style finsh. Despite this, the finish still has great balance and acidity. Developed nicely over the course of an hour, hour, and a half. Beaut!

Drinks wonderfully now, but no hurry. Complex and deep and with lovely freshness. The only minus is that oak is still perceivable on the nose. But overall I enjoyed it a lot.

Plenty of apple, somewhat fresh somewhat mature with s’more sweet vs savory spice. Still a good village wine, just not as bright as previous bottles, which were as recent as mid 2020.

Elegantly floral start with lots of green apple with faint lemon and spice hints throughout. Very good weight and length for its level, ending with very bright energy. Very good for its level.

Blind Tasting...Wines That Don't Suck (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind, so clearly white Burg, on the lower end of the spectrum, but so clearly well made. Floral with plenty of apple throughout. At its peak. Yum.
