I have not had this wine since the first dinner when I was introduced to Alex Moreau and the wines from the family domaine in 2010. The wine was quite impressive at that time, but definitely tired now.

Sunday blinds (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. I can't get past the lactic nose on this wine, and even weirder, the sour cream and onion chips flavour on the palate. Besides that though, there is good acidity and fruit here. I did manage to land in Chassagne, but thought this was a 2012 thanks to the riper, waxy fruit.

Subtle mineral notes, balanced but flavors are too mild to be distinguishable.

Finer, leaner, more floral, and better acidity compared to the 2010 Bourgogne. Very attractive village wine.
