Good colour. Needed a little air to express itself, restrained, quied, easy going with some soft red fruits. Palate fading, slight, softened, but pleasingly drinkable. Held up well over two hours. No doubt better 20 years ago, but the opportunity to try was not to be passed up.

Very deep red. Soft on nose and palate but despite 40 years old is so well balanced and elegant. So Healthy. Only minor point is that the fruit is a little dull and one dimensional and won't improve but will drink well for another 5 years.
