  • Well-made but easy drinking Morellino wine (the Sangiovese is traditionally called Morellino in the Maremma region) without much complexity. Varietal composition: 85 % Sangiovese completed with small amounts of Merlot and Ciliegiolo. Maturation: six months, partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel. Youthful ruby-red in color and a pleasant nose of sour cherries, violets and hints of tobacco and mint. An elegant, already well accessible wine with nice berry and plum fruit and moderate tannins. Medium aftertaste. Drink it now and over the next 2-3 years.
