  Tight and bit thin after a double decant, opened up over the next two hours to deliver pretty red fruit with cherry and savory notes, vibrant acidity, resolving tannins. Gained weight with air. Has time left, but not a lot here for long term.

  An excellent young bottle of burgundy. Decanted two hours. Not at all closed down, really pretty fruit, nice and developing nose, great balance. I do not know what was opened at that HDH auction tasting that previous notes mention, but it could not have been a bottle like this. This does not have great depth, and I think is unlikely to become outstanding with age, but it is really well worth drinking now and I am interested to see what happens in several years.
