During a 2012 Burgundy blind tasting dinner. Overall the vintage showed quite tannic still and with a wide dispersion between the top names and lesser known Domains. Definitely drink the 2013 and 2014 before the 2012 and stick to quality producers. TN: This together with Fourrier's Combe aux Moines were the clear winners of this tasting. The performance was a World apart from all other wines. Beautiful nose, not far off the one from the the Leroy wines with red fruit, sweet spices, cured meat, gamey elements. Wonderful ripe fruit on the palate, with appropriate acidity and silky tannins. Grand Cru quality. The Come aux Moines had the slight edge but I am splitting hair.

Drop dead gorgeous bottle of pinot. Better than the first bottle had a few month ago. This was great on pnp (last one decanted). So delicate, fragrant, cool but slightly sweet fruit. Amazing for the level and price tag!

Big wine needs time, was so tight when opened. Lots of fruit black currant, vanilla and caramel. Given time and next day had a beautiful nose. Wait for another 5-10 years will be delicious 94-95

Drunk together over two days with Fourrier Chambolle -Musigny 1er Cru Les Gruenchers Vielle Vigne 2010 which is substantially better than this one (fruit, structure, complexity, potential).

Very nice wine. Medium body but lots of nice earth undertones and sweet tannins. A nice showing.
