Definitely past its prime. Dark marmalade color - darker than light. Not a lot aromatically. Some candied orange and sweet raspberry notes actually. Palate is tired and kinda fruity and sappy at this point. Just not very exciting and shoulda been consumed younger. Thought merited some points for being a truly unique bottling.

A bit over the hill. Color has darkened immensely and the nose has shut down. Still tasty on the palate, however. 12.8%

Saturday Afternoon at Domaine - featuring Nebbiolo (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): Love this wine and love Wind Gap. The color is an intense pinkish color with lovely strawberry notes and a lots of minerals. Just sipping mountain stream water and biting into a strawberry you find alongside the creek. Where's summer?

Saturday Fun at Domaine (Chicago, IL): Pink salmon colour. Strawberry juice! Absolutely delicious -- very fresh and fruity.

10/7/2013 - ToddS Does not like this wine:
Prefer the 2012 Wind Gap Wines Trousseau Gris Fanucchi Wood Road Vineyard. The Pinot Gris was just too austere for us.
