  Perhaps slightly less concentrated than the 2009 vintage, but still with an excellent QPR. An alluring young wine from the foothills of the “Sierra de Algairen” (province of Saragossa / Aragon), made for early consumption. Varietal composition: 85 percent Syrah (15 years old vines) and 15 percent Grenache (40 years old vines) ; the wine spent three months in French barriques. Deep purple-red in color and quite a fragrant nose of black cherry, blueberry, kirsch liqueur and a touch of cinnamon. The palate reveals a generous, well-balanced wine, with loads of ripe red fruit and supple tannins. Finishes elegant without sharp edges. Drink it now and over the next 2-3 years.
  
  Misschien iets minder geconcentreerd dan in de jaargang 2009, maar nog steeds met een uitstekende prijskwaliteitverhouding. Een verleidelijke wijn, afkomstig uit de uitlopers van de “Sierra de Algairen” (provincie Saragossa / Aragon), gemaakt om jong gedronken te worden. Samenstelling: 85 percent Syrah (15 jaar oude wijnstokken) en 15 percent Grenache (40 jaar oude wijnstokken); de wijn verbleef drie maanden in Franse barriques. Diep paarsrood van kleur en een intense neus van zwarte kersen, bosbessen, kirsch en een vleugje kaneel. Een gulle, evenwichtige wijn met pakken rijp rood fruit en soepele tannines. Ronde, elegante finale. Te drinken: nu en in de komende 2-3 jaar.
