Burgundies from 2011 is known to a bit too green. This is definitely also green on opening and though it is still green after 3–4 hours it has a solid fruit concentration to hide some of that revolting aspect. Ripe raspberry, pepper and spices. Slate minerals, black tea and autumn leafs. Powerful Burgundy both on the nose and mouth. It would have made excellent score if it wasn’t for the still present greenness.

Medium garnet. Initially a bit timid on the nose, with spices, red fruit. Then after half an hour in the glass gaining complexity. On the light side and acidic but not lean, albeit not at the level of the very good 2012.
