Note from CJM two years ago prompted me to try one of these a year or two earlier than I might otherwise have done. Vibrant color, all the way to the rim. Great nose - black and blue fruits with hints of tobacco. Same fruits on the palate, along with hints of redder fruits. Humongous fruit on the palate, but not jammy or port-like. Medium body but fairly rich, with a lengthy, seamless finish. In fact, "seamless" is the best way to describe this, from the seamless integration of multiple fruit flavors to the seamless transition from the palate to the finish. CJM said low acids and no tannins, but he (or she) must have had a defective bottle. This had plenty of both and was beautifully balanced. I think it will peak in 2017 or 2018.

Consistent with previous bottles. Beautifully balanced, seamlessly integrated. Should hold for at least another year.

Consistent with a bottle two months ago. More than held its own next to a 2010 Carlisle (Bedrock). Good for another two years.
