Some brown. Some oxidation. Very good wine at one time. Reminded of Mediterranean white wine of 50 years ago. Impressive in their own way with the right food. A trip down memory lane. Recent purchase - storage?

95% Marsanne and 5% Rousanne, bolstered by the fact that there was no Ex-Voto white in 2008. A point but will last, al that you'd hope for from white Hermitage. The ultimate food white, paired very well with grouse.

Guigal Hermitage blanc 2007-2009 (Winegate): Clear, med gold color. The nose is clean, med intensity, honey, ripe pear, apple and blossom, developed. The wine is dry, med body and intensity, med acidity and alcohol (14%), thinner concentration than 2007, a few bitter hints, honey, tin pineapple, pear, med finish. Very good quality, premium price, drinking now but can hold

Consistent with prior notes. The only nuance was some apple notes on the nose.
This wine needs food.
Decent. Would buy again.

Golden yellow in colour. Honeyed and. Citrus notes on palate.
Full bodied and robust.
Something of stoned plum.
