Paired very well with Thanksgiving roasted duck. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune and clove. Tannins totally smoothed out.

This is 4th of 4 bottles. First 3 impressed significantly, but this time around the magic wasn't there. Not sure if it was the bottle or me. Very fruit forward with heavy dose of chocolate on the palate. I think the flavor balance is shifting from the beautiful grape with interesting side notes to more of a chocolate grittiness dominating with the fruit too subdued. Had a good Cab nose, but did not offer a sustained aroma. I am growing fond of long finishes on the palate and this one was not long enough to push the rating up to the previous scores I gave. It might be past its prime. Acid and tannin were in good balance.

most interesting, very nice mature wine, dark color, soft tannins, fruit mostly gone, what is left is dark red fruit

The aging has softened the tannins nicely. Now a beautiful fruit-forward cab!
