A very enjoyable Paso Robles Cab that checks all the boxes. While it has no wow factor, it is very solid for a $35 wine The blend of 78% CS, 13% Malbec & 9% PV provides nice depth of flavors. The plush palate has wonderful softness and level-handed oak treatment. The dark fruit is balanced well with the cedar and black pepper. The finish is smooth and tasty. We can see this going another 5 years. We perfect with our grain bowl top with roasted rootsvegetables and mushrooms.

Excellent bright deep red fruits, quite primary considering the age. Juicy, sweet, still obvious oak. Very harmonious and suggestive of good things to come over the next ten years.

Had this at the winery in 2016. Think it's improved since then. Dark chewy cherries. Full-bodied, minerality. Enjoyed it. A little different than many CA cabernets.
