  Bottiglia in stato di grazia. Inizialmente un po' chiuso con sentori terziari e di asfalto. Poi si apre su un bel frutto maturo dolce e polposo, ciliegia di vignola, prugna, bacche nere di bosco. tabacco, cuoio, sottofondo floreale meno in evidenza.Ottima intensità in bocca con acidità che sostiene egregiamente, e tannini spazzolati. Nonostante un po' di incostanza tra le bottiglie (questa temo sia l'ultima), questo 2008 ha regalato buon piacere.

  Non la stessa precisione e pulizia che avevo trovato nelle occasioni precedenti. Anche al palato acidità un po’ sopra le righe. Forse una bottiglia non perfetta.

  La grazia non fa davvero difetto a questo brunello, sempre molto approcciabile, ma anche molto tipico. Rispetto all'ultima bottiglia aperta oltre due anni fa il naso si è terziarizzato; apre decisamente floreale su note di viola e rosa, ma successivamente la frutta rossa e nera scivola un po' in sottofondo rispetto a sentori erbacei di tabacco, speziati e di cuoio. Naso complessivamente molto Sangiovese e Montalcino. Al palato molto bevibile e piacevole, con una buona struttura e tannini ben torniti. In ottima forma al momento. Non sono sicuro che possa migliorare ulteriormente, ma davanti ha ancora diversi anni di potenziale da esprimere.

  Great representation of Brunello, love the classic Sangiovese nose with plum, dark cherry, leather, tobacco, spice, pepper and lavender flavors. Good balance between tannins and acidity. Medium to long finish. Very enjoyable throughout the meal.
