This is a lean chardonnay -- not unduly acidic, but not fruity either; it's all at the mineral, herbal end of the flavor spectrum, with some bitterness in the aftertaste. While I rank it below the other Rollin whites I have had -- I suspect that is a function of the vintage rather than the vineyard -- it is still a tasty and eminently drinkable bottle, at a reasonable price. I would guess that it will last a while longer, but I doubt that it will evolve much beyond what it is now.

Very well balanced wine of citrus and tropical fruits.
