  Past due. Wine had a cheap port (without the alcohol) taste. Color was a brown. Huge amount of sediment.

  Glorious earthy aromas of spicy red fruits, candied Barolo essence, freshly unpacked leather shoes. There are also hints of banana and sweet whipped cream. It hints at custard before you bake it. The wine is a very deep dark red and pretty clear, but with masses of sediment. In the mouth there is a sweet tartness, very full, and quite lively. It is a Cabernet with a Barolo feel, full and long with that aged candiness-hard to put into words. An excellent bottle of wine. It will last for a few more years but will not improve.
