Very robust. Stinky nose, like a trash heap. Meaty palate, earth and mushrooms and tannin. I can get down with it, but I'm giving it the side-eye the whole time.
By law, it's gotta be between 50 and 95% Mourvèdre. You can tell.

I have a feeling that this is traditional and varietally correct and all that but this is way too young to give any useful info. So tannic and so animal right now. GSM is wonderful and bandol is cool but this puppy needs five years.

Drunk from a 375. Still lightly tannic, but surprisingly approachable now. Meaty, earthy but four square with dark fruits. Will no doubt improve with a few more years in bottle.
