4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Double blind. Bouillon and dark fruit notes. The bouillon carries through on the palate, finishing a little shorter than I’d like. Picks up some interesting notes of tar and pepper as it sits in the glass. (MM)

Somewhat of a simpleton, yes, but it has kept well, the fruit is still quite primary, only slightly muted bu the warm year and the semimodern winemaking. Rich, full, dark, concentrated, and while ready to drink, it will certainly go on.

This has transformed from a lean and hard, iron infused baby. Lots of warm supple fruits give a soft and refreshing texture, and the finish is silky with very little tannin remaining. A very unmistakable warmth from the Mediterranean climate. Delicious and really is hard to believe the transformation in 8 years.

Surprisingly fresh nose, fruits and some flowery elements behind.
Intense massive taste, loads of tannin.
Drink now-2016
