Similar to the bottle I had back in October. We opened a bottle at lunch. Dark red fruit on the nose. the palate was dark plums, black cherry and a touch of cranberry. A moderate to long finish

Very enjoyable Pinot Noir. More in the French style than California. Sanders and I opened a bottle at lunch. Dark red fruit on the nose. the palate was dark plums, black cherry and a touch of cranberry. A moderate to long finish.

Dark ruby hued with a nose of forest floor and cedar. It has a thick glycerol feel for a pinot noir. There is significant extraction without it being a fruit bomb. Tastes of red berries and smoke. Really nice length on the finish. This falls between the delicate and/or austere pinots of burgundy or Oregon, and the highly extracted style sometimes seen in California pinots. It challenged me because it didn’t fit my existing perceptions of pinot noir.

A nose of dark cherry and spices, dark garnet in color. A full bodied single vineyard PN, with black cherry, blueberry, cola, with spice on finish. Not your petite Pinot, drink now. www.winelx.com

Two years later, this wine has come into its own. Truly the roundest wine I’ve tasted in a good while. Fruit and spice and everything bright.
