Color: closer to red brick than purple Nose: lots of earth w/undertones of fruit, musky/dusty nose that blew off some as time went on, not a bad nose, just showing its age Taste: soft, sweet tannins, smooth finish w/age showing in its sweeter fruit, but still great earth, just a hint of vanilla on finish Nutshell: unique opportunity to drink an older pinot noir and it showed very well w/structure still intact but a sweet, smooth mellow
