Nose presents vanilla and dark berries. Graphite and minerals shine through on the first few sips. This is exceptionally well balanced and lean, with refined tannins and it paired well with artichokes and lobster. Great to drink now and will only get better.

Decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, currant, mocha, licorice and spice. Black fruit, mocha, licorice and spice on the palate. Long finish. Dense and full bodied. Served with filet Béarnaise.

Decanted for one hour. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, currant, chocolate, licorice and spice. Black and blue fruit, cocoa, anise, forest floor and fine, drying tannins on the palate. Finishes with good length. Full bodied. Good for the vintage. Served with wood fired, reverse seared, strip steaks.

Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, blueberry, currant, mocha, licorice and spice. Black and blue fruit, mocha, licorice, spice and fine tannins on the palate. Finishes with good persistence. Full bodied. Good for the vintage. Served with steak Diane.
